United Way of McPherson County seeks information from community members

McPHERSON — How is the coronavirus impacting your daily life? United Way of McPherson County wants to know.

United Way has posted a community needs survey on its website asking McPherson County residents to share the effects of the virus on their employment, mental health, child care, and financial stability.

The survey was developed by United Way Intern Shonda Ratzloff, a social work student at Tabor College.

United Way Community Impact Chair Lara Vanderhoof said, “The COVID-19 health crisis is a global issue with local impact and needs.  During this time of uncertainty and the ever changing news related to COVID-19, United Way of McPherson County is here to serve our community in a time of need.  As we strategize and collaborate with our various community partners and leaders in the county, it is important to determine what community members/residents need during this health crisis.  We are here to support your needs. Completing the survey will help United Way of McPherson County plan and mobilize efforts to support every individual during this stressful and confusing time.”

The survey takes just a few minutes to complete. You can find it on United Way’s website, at www.unitedwaymcpherson.org.
