McPHERSON—McPherson First Responders will be competing in a softball tournament fundraiser to benefit FUSE Foundation.

Next Saturday, Oct. 9, starting at noon, at Grant Ball Fields in McPherson, McPherson First Responders, including the police department, fire department, EMS, and county sheriff’s office will be competing against each other in a softball tournament fundraiser to benefit FUSE Foundation. Admission to the games is free. Donations will be accepted, and concessions will be available, with all proceeds going to FUSE Foundation.

The FUSE Foundation was established in 2008 to provide opportunities for social networking, recreation, and education for young adults with neuromuscular disease. Founders include Kansas families of many young adults affected by neuromuscular disease, healthcare professionals, and volunteers with experience in providing activities for the physically disabled.

Come out to the games and show support for your favorite first responder team by wearing dark blue for McPherson Police, red for fire department, light blue for EMS, and green for the sheriff’s office. Most of all, come out and help us raise support for FUSE Foundation.
