Vandalism and criminal damage at the McPherson Cemetery has led McPherson County Crime Stoppers to ask for help from the community. 

On the morning of May 5, the McPherson Police Department was called to the cemetery, located at 1601 Cemetery Drive, following the discovery of vandalism and criminal damage to property. Officers found several headstones that were either damaged or stolen. Damage was estimated to be less than $1,500. It is believed the vandalism and damage occurred between May 4 at 6:30 p.m. and May 5 at 7:30 a.m.
