McPherson – The City of McPherson has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation on county, state, and federal levels. We appreciate the McPherson community’s dedication to safety and response during this time. Below are building closures and updates on city facilities.
Municipal Center – Effective Tuesday, March 24, 2020, the office will be closed to public access. Staff will continue to work and be available via email, phone, and in person by special appointment. For assistance, please call one of the following numbers:

Playground, Dog Park, & Park Restrooms – Effective Tuesday, March 24, 2020 the playgrounds, Dog Park, and park restrooms will remain closed. While use of playgrounds is restricted, open space parks and trails are open. We urge you to actively practice social distancing and keep 6 feet away from other park users.

Turkey Creek Golf Course – The golf course will remain open at this time. Policies and procedures have been put in place to ensure the safety and well being of customers. Limited accessibility protocols may be considered on March 30, 2020 by the governing body. We ask that golfers do not remove flags and putt with flags in place. City Commission Meetings – Commission meetings will be live streamed on the McPherson, Kansas Facebook page Monday morning. Due to the closure of the Municipal building we will be unable to hold the public input portion of the meeting.
