Windom Memorial Day Service canceled, veterans still honored

During this pandemic, we are endeavoring to take care of our community. If you have the means to back us through a subscription or a gift subscription for someone else, we appreciate your support.

The Windom Booster Club regrets that due to the COVID-19 the annual Memorial Day Service and Coffee will not be held at the Windom Cemetery.

Veterans buried at the Windom Cemetery will be honored and remembered in the following manner.
The Avenue of Flags will fly and each veteran’s grave will have a flag.
In addition to the 31 veterans buried at the cemetery, floral tributes will be placed on each unattended grave.
