McPherson High School bowlers Matt Stiggins, Junior, and Clayton Oullette, Senior, have perfected their games. Oulette bowled a 299 on Jan. 23 against Buhler High School at The Alley in Hutchinson. Just 10 days later, Stiggins bowled a 300 in a home match against Andale Feb. 2., the first time a perfect score has been recorded in McPherson High School competition. The boys’ team is 6-0 on the season and competes in Wichita and El Dorado this week.
The MHS girls’ team is 3-2 and led by Cheyann Williams, Brooke Miller and Maysan Groote.
Coach Herb Halinski said “The season is half way over and the team has been improving each and every meet. I am looking forward to see the kids continue and improve each and every meet.”
